New Air Conditioning System
Nuevo sistema de aire acondicionado
As announced last week, the A/C is working now because of a temporary solution, and our parish needs a new A/C unit as well as a power generator which guarantees power in a likely stormy place like Miami.
The estimate for the new A/C unit and the power generator is approx. USD 100,000.
Starting today and during the whole month of October, we will be having a second collection specifically to cover the cost of this project.
If each family puts a weekly USD 40 we could achieve our goal to cover the project cost. We know that everyone has different needs and different economic possibilities, but we are all invited to reflect on the fact that this is our parish, and this specific investment is for our benefit and the benefit of future generations.
We are entrusting this project and all its benefactors to our Lady of the Rosary whose feast is celebrated this month.

Como se anunció la semana pasada, el aire acondicionado está funcionando gracias a una solución temporal y nuestra parroquia necesita una nueva unidad de aire acondicionado, así como un generador de energía que garantice servicio en un lugar de tormentas como Miami.
El estimado para la nueva unidad de aire acondicionado y el generador de energía es de aprox. 100.000 dólares.
Empezando hoy y durante el mes de octubre tendremos una segunda colecta específicamente para cubrir el costo de este proyecto.
Si cada familia aporta 40 dólares semanales podríamos lograr nuestra meta de cubrir el costo del proyecto. Sabemos que cada uno tiene necesidades diferentes y posibilidades económicas distintas, pero todos estamos invitados a reflexionar sobre el hecho de que esta es nuestra parroquia y esta inversión específica es para nuestro propio beneficio y el beneficio de futuras generaciones.
Encomendamos este proyecto y a los benefactores del mismo a nuestra Señora del Rosario, cuya fiesta se festeja este mes.
Que Dios los bendiga y les dé el ciento por uno.

This report is a testament to what God is doing in our midst and response in authentic faith through the generosity of you, the parishioners, and this is reflected in the administration of the resources entrusted to us by God.

Me siento humilde y honrado de presentarles el informe financiero por el año fiscal 2020- 2023, de la parroquia de San Lorenzo; que como parte del ministerio de la Iglesia, además de la Iglesia abarca la escuela y el centro de cuidado infantile. Este informe es un testimonio de lo que Dios está haciendo en medio de nosotros y responde con fe auténtica a través de la generosidad de ustedes, los feligreses, y esto se refleja en la administración de los recursos que Dios nos ha confiado.
